A Pirates Life for me!

As I recently mentioned, Max loves to dress up. His all time favorite thing to be though, is a pirate. We have "Pirate Max" around more often than we have anyone else ((including just "Regular Max")).

Well, I was cleaning my room one day and Max was in helping me, and his eyes kept catching all of my pirate memorabilia that was around my room. He kept asking if he could put this or that on and slowly but surely, he wound up wearing a good chunk of all my pirate gear.

Chasing Pavement and other projects...

Now that the summer has started, all the kids are at home. With Greg and Cinthanie not being in school, many more adventures have taken place and are to come. We are excited to spend the summer with them and share in our fun little moments with them.

With lots of hours in the day to fill, Greg Jr. has been helping the boys with fun little art projects a lot. - Its great for them to be able to think creatively and use their imaginations a bit!

CHASING PAVEMENT
A bit ago, the 3 boys were outside for awhile, experimenting with the side walk chalk. When I went outside to see what was going on, Hinckley and Max were SO excited to show me what they had done! Greg Jr. had traced them both on the pavement, and made cool characters out of them.

Hinckley was made into a courageous knight riding his trusty steed:

and Max was of course made into a scurvy pirate:

Both Hinckley and Max were absolutely thrilled to have been turned into their favorite characters! -- Thanks Greg Jr.!
FINGER PAINTINGS
Greg Jr. got out the finger paints a little bit ago and helped Hinck and Max create their own little masterpieces, while doing one of his own. -- We have such artistic children in this family. :)

"Horse" by Maxwell

"Disneyland" by Hinckley

"Fish" by Greg Jr.

We hope that the summer fun continues and helps welcome in fall and winter fun as well!
